It appears they are all wires ...... YEAH!!!! They were born 3-16-03.

Now if anyone out there has a wonderful imagination and is *in* to Sci Fi and Fantasy, I name my litters on themes and because I didn't want to jinx this litter I didn't do any name planning ahead of time. I would like the theme to be along the lines of the *time warp* line of thinking...time continuum....doesn't have to include time but that theme.

Sorry to say... I have no thoughts on names. When you mention time continuum... first thing that comes to my mind are the "Q" from Star Trek TNG :)

Congrats!!!! on your litter! They sound adorable, and just think soon you can inhale puppy breath!:D Oh little angels, :angel: Ohhhhhhh!!!!!!!! One of my favorite doxis was a mini blk/tan wirehaired. He was the only mini I had ever had. But what a charmer!

Doxunzx3 I'm hoping that 3 will be show dogs :) The black and tan girl has a kink at the end of her tail (makes it look like a question mark) so she will be a pet and performance (if someone wants to do that) *child*.
Yes this is Tweetie's (and Wrinkles) first litter and she is an excellent mother. Had the puppies within 2 hours and all 4 were nursing within 2 minutes of being born. Well, all except the dark red boy as it took me awhile to get all of the water out of his chest - he was born butt first and stomach up which meant it took some time for me and Tweetie to get him OUT. That is a most difficult presentation. They have all gained 2-3 oz in their 3 days of life, had their dewclaws removed today and life is grand!
They all thank you for the song and kiss!!

Oh my! It is hard to believe that Wrinkes in old enough to have kids. When does time go? Congratulations!!!

My wire girl would like one either male or female or both for playfriends! Her foster wire boy has been stuck at the vets with a bad reaction to HW treatment. Even when he gets home he can't play. A 9 month old wheaton just came into rescue and she is hoping that he will come to Waco, but I am guessing it won't happen.

Event Horizon has been mentioned in several time-travel things, but comes to mind most in SG-1 and it is the wormhole's surface (ya know the thingy that looks like water).

Morlock is the name of the people in The Time Machine that live underground in the distant future.

Actually Singularity soulda been Quantum Singularity, which is how I've always heard it.

Well duh on my part! And I love SG 1 when I can catch it. Event Horizon has GOT to be used :) If SG-1 has a website, since I have a very bad memory, OR if you are fan, maybe more names from there can be found and I'll use that show as the theme instead <G> Fickle woman, here. Well there's always the character names. Jackson, O'neal, Carter, Braytack, Hammond and T'ealc. :)

Then there's the races . . . Tauree (sp . . . humans), Gouaould, Asguard, Tokra (sp), Jaffa . . . and more I can't think of right now. ;)

Plenty of other things to choose from. I may think of more later . . . gotta get to work now for a glorious 12 hour day. :(

OMG she must have been HUGE! Those puppies together are 1/3 of the size of Mommy. What a fantastic photo, you can see the different colors, and Awwwwww!!! Makes me want to have a litter too! Good thing mine are all fixed already. My heart is just so filled with joy looking at them. Very fond memories! :angel: :angel: :angel:and I couldn't resist :devil: after all you've gotta have one that is going to be top dog!

I thought about Braytack's name and realized he is usually referred to as: Master Braytack by the humans and Jaffa . . . Ch. Master Braytack has a ring to it. ;)

Now the head Jaffa of any Goa'uld is referred to as the *First Prime* . . . First Prime is another possibility.

The non-earthers also refer to the Stargate as ChappaEye (sp) . . . pronounced Shoppa-Eye. I think this is what it's called . . . I tried to verify that at the site, but couldn't find it.

How about the show Andromeda? I caught it again today while doing laundry and the AI's name just hit me as a WONDERFUL NAME for a little girl.....Romy.....so.... Her registered name would be Laci's Andromeda MW and her call name would be Romy. NOW I need 3 more with 2 being boy names and 1 being another girl. BUT, since y'all are soooooooooooooooooo good at this I would like to set your brains a turning for the registered names, too. There is a BIG boy and a little boy (wouldn't you know the big boy is the crybaby <G>). Perfect for either the gorgeous black guy and the little brainy one or the captain and the little brainy guy :) And the other girl can be the fighter pilot or the .... whatever she is, the girl that doesn't have a job but in this hour she changed places with herself from the future and knew herself - odd.

Harper is EXQUISITE!!! That fits this little man to a *t*. Have to come up with something for his registered name but that is a neat call name.

Trance is also neat ....can you tell I like different call names? Something unusual that no one else has :)? Hmmm, have to go find out just exactly WHAT she is and maybe that will help with her registered name

OK.....Now for the big guy.....Nichi, Kodi (nah, I've heard that before), Tyr - but that sounds like 'here' which is used in agility a LOT so that won't work....hmmm, and I really like that guy.

I have never had a litter to name, but I have helped a few others with naming a rescue, or a litter! I am so tickled when someone goes with a scifi theme! Siglen, Brekke, and Sorcha (albeit it is spelled Sorka) are all from Anne McCaffrey books. My second grade students could tell you that I don't think children get enough science fiction to read - hence we read Jane Yolen's Commander Toad adventures... and congratulations on the arrival of some beautiful puppies! I had gone to the website and decided that Romy (I know the correct spelling is Rommie but that is too long for me <G>) is going to be Laci's Andromeda Ascendant MW - just sounds so regal to me - if she stays with me.

Laci's Eureka Maru MW - Maru - very unusual. MW will also probably be a stretch but oh well <g> one can always hope and maybe he will stay a MW

Laci's Seamus Harper MW - Harper

Laci's Trance Valentine MW - Trance - although she probably won't get that name and 2 of these aren't mine either - they belong to the co-owner so whoever stays with me .... probably Romy and one of the boys - probably Harper but you never know. She might go for him if she thinks the coat won't be a wheaten. Trance is definitely going to be a pet puppy though, as she can't be a show pick as she has a kink in her tail. But boy is she a sweetie already at 2 weeks and 2 days.

But at least they will have call names for the next 7-8 weeks!

As of today, Trance has both eyes open, Romy has 1/2 of both eyes open as does Harper and Maru/Gonzo has just the corners of his eyes open. :)
