On a side note, I am going to be going to Best Friends for the first time in November to volunteer for a week with a fellow DBB member (vferraro99) and am looking so forward to what is to be, I'm sure, a life-changing experience for me. It will be hard & dirty work, but oh so worth it, in my opinion.

How awesome. Parker is adorable and what a long way he has come from his horrible life of a puppymill breeder.

What a great update on Parker!:bouncy1:

One of the trainers from our obedience club and her husband drove from Michigan to spend a week volunteering at Best Friends in August. She said that it was definitely a life changing experience. I'll be anxious to hear all about your trip.

Yeah! :party011::party011: What a great story.

I love the show dogtown on National Geographic (it comes on after The Dog Whisperer) about Best Friends Dogtown section. I would love to go and spend a week there sometime.

Take lots of :photo: to share with us when you get back. Have a safe trip
