Dachshund Meetup?

Does anybody know how the "International Dachshund Lovers Meetup Day" works? I registered for it, and the site told me the next one would be the third weekend of April. It didn't tell me where it would be, or how many other people would be there. Has anyone ever been to one? If so, what are they like? And, if anyone from my area is going, I'd love to talk to you before hand. It would be nice to see a familiar face at the event.

I went to one here in Houston this month and it was great. I'll let everyone know next month so anyone in this area can meet us. It would be really fun to actually meet some of the people from the Board.
