Molly isn't a Doxie, she was a cat i adapted in '93 from a pound in WI. She passed away March 1, 2008 from a long battle with feline Melanoma in her mouth. She was my best friend through everything. Her death hit me hard, i still cry when i remotely talk about her. Well today my mother found her adoption papers. She told me and i cried hard. i want bring them back with me and frame them. she was my sweetie. :sorry:

I know you are sad, but what a great thing you did by adopting Molly. Molly is undoubtedly at the Bridge with my late Jake (also not a doxie, but a terrier). Jakey was in the pound TWICE, and i'm sure he's filling in Molly .

One of life's lessons many of us first learn from out four leg companions is how to deal with the grief caused by the loss of a loved one. We never forget them and they will always live on in our hears and our heads. Time does make it easier to remember the ones we've lost with smiles eventually replacing the tears the majority of the time but can always be something that will hit us when we will get misty eyes when we remember our past companions.:hug2:
