Watery, wet eyes

I have a 1 1/2 mini doxie. For the past week she has had a very watery left eye. It doesn't seem to be affecting her play time at all and she seems all right. Should I be concerned? I checked her eye and lightly pulled upwards and did not see anything irregular. Could her eye be bothered from dry heat or a fireplace? She hasn't been around a fireplace though for a week. Should I be worried?

It probably would be a good idea to contact your vet for more info. Especially if it's only in one eye. May have something in it. Or tear duct could be blocked. Both of ours had problems but cleared up in a couple of days with drops. Good luck!
