Miss Gretl had surgery in September 1999, and didn't get her tail wag back for 14 months. Today - another milestone! She got her tickle spots back! She will be 14 on July 20, so she was a senior when she had her surgery, btw. Julia B.

It's great to hear that their condition can still improve, even at the age of 14.
Now you have more than a year of tickling to catch up on!

Way to Miss Gretl and kudos too to her caregiver(s) that helped her improve. Our little dogs and their tail wags and tickle spots are so precious…

Way to go girl!!! I know the feeling. You have so much hope, and when you do see a little progress you feel like cry...
We're still waiting for our wheelchair! (they said 4-6 weeks...well it's been 4-6 MONTHS!) maybe by the time it gets here she won't need it!
Smooches and tummy scratches to your SPECIAL girl from mine!

I am always glad to hear of any progress, myself! Wow - I remember a post you did about the lengthy wait you were undergoing for the cart and I cannot believe it - that's horrible! Are you in contact with the manufacturer? What excuses have they offered? I hope you hear something almost immediately! Julia B.

I am so glad to hear about Gretl's continued improvement!
Patience is definiteley needed when dealing with back problems.

someone on a "email list" mentioned their site.
When I ordered in November for her for xmas (they said 4-6 weeks) and they would get to work on it 'right away'.
this are parts of their few, every-couple-of-months-or-so emails:
(from January email): some of the 'excuse'
I have your order as the third one down in my stack here.... Thank you for your patience.
Work with our animal rescue group has also expanded and we have been spread too thinly.
Further complicating things for us has been an unexpected transition in getting our email switched over to a different server.
(from March email): {I had to send an email asking about my order status to TWO of their email addresses to get this reply, which STILL doesn't answer my question}...
I plan to send out several orders that have accumulated since the "incident" and I apologize for the undue delay".
I was hoping we would be doing the volunteer pet visitations in hospitals by now...
I wish they hadn't string me along like that or I would've cancelled the order. Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad...
