What to use to bathe?

I have read conflicting information regarding what to use to bathe your dachie with. Some books recommend only doggie shampoo; others say baby shampoo so it won't burn their eyes. What have you used and found to be the best? What about stinging their eyes...any problems with that?

Definately a dog shampoo. They have a different Ph then we do, so even a mild (baby) shampoo will not be good. From there the options are endless. They have medicated shampoos for skin problems, shampoos for dark coats, for white coat, do fleas. It is almost endless and kind of fun to try the new ones.
