Every couple of weeks I watch the slide show tribute to my Jen Jen and feel the pain like it was yesterday... The pain, guilt, loneliness and feeling of being cheated and what I could have done differently. :sorrow:
Today, as I was watching and the flood gates opened, but my thoughts were different.....
I felt blessed, grateful, and thankful....for all that she gave us, all that she taught me, and that WE were the ones God chose to have his angel in our life.
Until we meet again Big Mama, you warm my heart daily... Thank You:hearts:
Awesome!!!
I wish we could all feel that instead of second-guessing ourselves in these situations.
:thanx: for sharing this wisdom.

Oh your post made me cry. I am so glad that you had that new feeling rather than the same old beating yourself up. I think that is Jen Jens blessing to you and a true sign of her love shining down on you.
I truly beleive she sent Cooper to you to help to ease the pain. In her own special way she knew that having a needy baby would help you to heal a bit.
Good luck and I will continue to keep you in my prayers for all you do and have done.

It took me a long to get that way when Pickle passed. I am so glad that you are there. You gave Mama an awesome life filled with smiles, laughter, and love, and you'll see her again.

:bighug: Cat.... I hope that there are many more good days ahead where the happy memories bring you comfort. Jen Jen knew how much she was loved and she would want you to honour her with the happy memories, as difficult as it may seem some days.

Sometimes we have to take a different perspective on those we have lost or we ourselves get lost! Jen Jen would be glad you have a different outlook - she wouldn't want you to feel guilty, I know that for sure!! :hug2::hug2:

I'm glad you were able to reach a point of peace and comfort today. All of us who have lost comapions know how challenging that can be.

:hugs1:Cat, I am glad you found some inner peace about Jen-Jen.
I do know how hard it is. It took me a very long time to be able to think about "Champ" without tearing up. My memories of him live on inside me but now with smiles instead of tears.
I'm sure Cooper's being there has helped occupy your mind and helped you not to think about it so much. I know for myself...Dixie was the key for me moving ahead. Not that she replaced Champ...but...that thinking about her left less time to think about Champ.
Peace girl:hearts:!
Cat I am so glad that you feel the blessings instead of the constant pain...I often think of my BridgeBabies.. and sometimes laugh at the memories they have left me. And feel them still in my heart when I am particularly sad about something.
Keep the happy thoughts close to your heart...
Peace
