My Little Turd!

So... Jake hasn't been eating very well the past few days. His fod MIGHT be starting to get a little old. So last night I go to the store to get him some new stuff.

They don't have his puppy food... so I get a 5lb bag of food I am going to feed him next.

I mixed his old and new about half and half... thinking he would down it all... nope... he avoided the old stuff... and ate every last little bit of the new stuff! My little man is such a picky eater :)

I guess we might be changing his food over a month or so before I had planned.

Just mix a little PURE pumpkin or green beans in and I'm sure he'll be your regular ol' chow hound. :D

After I typed the last message... Jake decided they his old food wasn't bad after all and started eating more.

He didn't eat it all. But most of it... Just being picky :)

I had the same problem with my spencer. He WAS a picky eater, just nibbling around the dry stuff to get to the wet mix. I stuck to the 20min rule (food out for 20mins only, regardless if he eats or not) and no snacks in between. Needless to say his finicky habits didnt last long, although we were very worried about him during that time. He inhales his food now. Stay strict and don't give in to his bad habits...:circle: Good luck
