Well, thought I would post about how Ronnie is doing. She is a love bug and fits in quite well. She is my dog and lets me know it. But Wagner is jealous of her.

Food is a big motivator and she will do anything to get it! I caught her climbing in our closet to get to the cat food one night. I moved it to the desk and she found it there. So now we move the desk chair every night so she won't be able to reach it! The other cat food dishes are out of reach as well! The little stinker! By the way, the reason we have cat food in our room is because my Buddy Cat stays in our room. It is her room actually, she allows us to use it! :D

Ronnie will chew on anything! DH has to put his model parts (likes to build models) up or else she will get to them. If anything falls the floor...well, you get it! So we have to pick it up right away. She does have toys...tons of them. So I take whatever she has and trade it with a toy. By the way, she is a big de-stuffer too!

Ronnie hates going in outside in the snow! So it is very hard to get her to go potty outside during the winter. She will go on papers, however. I have to make her go outside and I am trying the reward for going potty outside thing.

Ronnie is not an alpha dog when it comes to Winnie Woo and Precious Pup! I don't know what it is but when they are on the bed at night, Ronnie nor Wagner will get in bed. They sit on the ramp and whine till I get up, pick them up and put them up near Joe and I!! All the while Winnie or Precious are growling!!! In the mean time there I am grumbling about not getting enough sleep.:banghead: While Joe is fast asleep...:zzzz: Of course they all get up a few times in the middle of the night!!! Aaaaahhh!!!

Ronnie is a clutz like me! She gets going so fast she looses her footing. I just love her so. Thank you for letting her adopt me :Sun2:

I'm always tickled to receive good updates!

With regards to the food motivation it makes me recall the "Ronnie in the dog food bin" pictures. :)

She always liked to carry random things around our house too. She didn't destroy anything - just grabbed and carried. She liked to carry the dog nail clippers around too.

As for the "snow" issue - she was a Virginia girl - and this is the first winter we've had any real snow or cold temps (in our area) in a few years. It's been freakishly warm. I'm betting this is the first time she's ever dealt with it!

I know what you mean about the "clutz" factor. I always just said she was a doofus :)

So glad to hear she's integrated into your household so well.

When are you getting that new camera for new pics? ;)

Ronnie was such a sweetie! I wanted to keep her for myself when I helped transport her. Although she and Syd were not the best of friends. Then again I did have Syd, Dex, Gracie Lynn and Ronnie all in my small townhouse at the same time!

until Christmas! Bummer. Ronnie does keep us on our toes. As of this moment she is destuffing a bobo on my bed...oh..she just heard someone open the fridge door...off she goes into the kitchen! LOL! Here she comes...must not be anything she likes. What a character! She moves so fast too. Wish I had her energy.
