Wow, I watched it twice to see if he had a second egg hidden somewhere. That looked way too easy but if it works, thank you thank you for posting. I'm the deviled egg maker in the family and that's the worst part. (and the smell)

So it is the baking soda???? I think that's what he said to add to the water, right?

I'll have to try it - I despise peeling hard-boiled eggs!!! No matter what I've tried, they still stick to the shell.

I've always peeled them under running cold water and never really had a problem. Hmm.

OMG how cool! If I understand correctly you put the baking soda in after the eggs are boiled and the cold water is in there?

I use to had a problem with the eggs but now I bring my water to boil, poke a hole in the large end of the egg with a thumb tack, put in boiling water.
Boil 12 minutes, drain and roll the eggs around in the pan causing them to crack and then put in ice water for 10min. then peel right off.
I wouldn't want to eat eggs where someone used their mouths to blow out the egg .....ICK<<>>

Yes, after boiling for 12 minutes in 2 inches of water....add 1 teaspoonful of baking soda in the cold water and then said to wait until the eggs cooled and then peel. Good luck....I haven't tried it yet.

Hmmm, interesting, have never heard of that trick, will have to try it. My husband always has issues with hard boiled eggs; I do not. I roll them around to crack the shell everywhere and then peel them under running cold water. Works like a charm every time. I will try this though. Guess we'll be doing something with hard boiled eggs tomorrow.

The water is 2 inches over the top of the eggs.

I tried it and it does work - though I about shot a boiled egg across the kitchen. I would do it for eggs I'm fixing for myself - but probably not for eggs I was fixing for others

I just watched this video. If the peel comes off that easily, I think I would just slip it off rather than blow it out. It's still going to be a much easier task.:wonky:

I have to agree with you there... How unsanitary is that??????
