hi everyone! I need some advice! Milo loves to stack. All he has to do is stand still and look handsome... gaiting, not so much. He digs his heels in and wont have anything to do with it. and when He does walk its all over in zigzags. and the worst thing is that he chokes. all I have for a show lead is a nylon lead with a slip knot. Im thinking I need something thats adjustible and soft for his sensitive neck. does anyone have any advice? I want gaiting to be a positive experience for Milo... not a negative one. and right now, our gaiting lessons always end with me in frustration, and Milo sad because it was not a positive experience. his first show is in april, and Im worried that he wont be trained enough to enter. :help2::help2::help2:

Try and find a Resco lead.. they have an adjustable collar piece that does not tighten.
As far as gaiting.. does he walk normally on a leash when out of a ring? Does he like squeaky toys or treats? Try using them to get him motivated.. you can use either in the ring as well. Add in the command 'walk' when ever he moves out on his own. Most of all.. don't stress.. make it fun for him.. always be upbeat.
