We had a bit of excitement here this evening!!
Cooper scratched his ear!!:bounce: :bounce:
I know that probably doesn't seem like much to get excited about, but it has been so long since he has been able to do it.

that is wonderful news....:bounce: :bounce:
Taking the hind leg to scratch is a really big improvement. That takes alot for them to stretch that hind leg like that....:bounce:
I am so excited for you all:flower:
Cooper keep up the great progress.

That is a biggy, Pauline. You must be thrilled, as we are for you. :)
Keep up the great progress, Cooper!

It is amazing the little things we take for granted which suddenly become so important when our little ones are hurt. The Canadian pack are jumping up and down (and scratching in sympathy) for Cooper!

So glad to hear of such great progress!

Anyone who has ever experienced a companion with a back episode knows just how big an achievement each of these seemly small steps really is. Cooper we are pulling for you to be running all over the yard before your windter is over.

Oh, I'm so happy for you! I remember when Bandit scratched her ear the first time after her paralysis. I was so excited I got down on the floor and hugged her and told her what a wonderful girl she was. She looked at me like "Mom, all I did was scratch". Cooper is doing so well and I'm so happy for you and Cooper. Go, Coop.

Pauline it sound like a pretty monumental occasion to me. When my Molly ate her first bite of food on her own (I was spoon and bottle feeding her) after she got sick Mark and I both sat down and cried with joy.
I'm keeping those rayz coming :rayz: :rayz: till our boy is romping in the yard with Rover and Mini. If he only knew how many people all over the world love him and pray for him everyday (kind of neat huh). He's loved internationally.:luvlove: :luvlove:

Way to go Cooper! Stay on that healing path. The credit I'm certain must be attributed to Cooper's strong spirit and the wonderful love and care that he has received.
I also know how precious an ear scratch can be...when JOEY first scratched his ear after his paralysis I shed tears of joy. It was the best Christmas present ever.
Take care (JOEY sends lot's 'o licks)

Good for you SUPERCOOPER!! That's a step in the right direction!
I know how you feel, seemingly unnoteworthy things being so important. I just about cried when Gert finally barked. Just little things to let us know they're doing better. I'm celebrating Gert's standing up on her hind legs to try to jump on the chair to be by me.

I'm so glad Gert doing so well. She's so lucky to have you. Best wishes for both of you!
