Today is Tammy's Anniversary

Four years ago I posted a comment on DBB when I saw the pic of Tammy who had been rescued from a puppy mill in Texas and was being fostered in Mississipi. My comment was, "If only I didn't live so far."

Four years ago on this day, I got an email that two friends had been plotting and that if I did indeed want Tammy they would get her up to Ohio and all I had to do was pick her up there. My answer was YES.

Happy unoffical GOTCHA DAY to my princess Tammy.

I remember I almost burst into tears when I heard you were getting Tammy. I'd "met" her at Heide's in Mississippi where she hid in the well of Heide's desk for almost my entire visit and only poked her shy, gorgeous little nose out at the very end of my two day stay.

She was obviously so terrified of being outside the walls of the cage she lived her entire life in. Of course, I have to catch my breath whenever I see how happy and confident she has become in your tender, loving care!

Just popped in, haven't been here in a while, still far behind on everything, and read this post. I well remember your getting this lovely lady. This board has done some wonderful things, and getting Tammy to you is one of them.

Having met her and Oliver at the picnic, I can attest to the fact that she is indeed beautiful. In fact I saw Hope too, but she wasn't Janet's then.
