Bowwow in Houston

Brekke and I got back last night from a wienerful dachsie get-together in Houston. We left Friday afternoon, and got in to Houston at 10:18 local time. On Saturday, Nikki's home was filled with a total of 13 dachsies. There were 6 black and tan, 1 black and tan dapple, 5 reds ((1 was a wire), and 1 chocolate tan. We got to meet Patrice and her 3 from this board. Patrice has Cash - the dachsie whose mouth was wired shut. :angry: In spite of everything, he is such a sweet-natured guy, when he has every right to be grumpy and grouchy! We had great food, great companionship, and of course the main event was dachsie interaction - what a hoot! I got home with a Texas accent - I soak up accents like a sponge! Julia B.

Hi Julia,

BowWow was great! It was so nice to meet you and Brekke. What a beauty! We had a great time meeting all the dachsies and their humans. My husband got a new digital camera and was the official photographer. I'll post pictures later this week.

You did a great job on the pictures. Looks like a really fun time was had by all. I am so glad you got pictures to share with everybody. Not quite as much fun as being there. Boy those texas dachsie's know how to party.

So many doxies that would of been a treat in itself.:D
Maybe next year we could attend... It would be closer for us than going to Ohio for the big picnic they are having in July.. Although would love to go to all of them:D
