Hi everybody! Here are some new pictures of our new girl. She's not home yet, but she will be very soon. This weekend if my husband lets me have my way. I WANT to drive down to get her tomorrow!!! :D So send some convincing words to make him say yes. . . LOL!!!!

What a little sweety. Do the pouty face, works on Mark everytime;) . But then again I just say "Hey Honey, Guess what I'm doing this weekend, Wanna come?:D And if your husband dosent want to go grab and friend and drive. I would say a road trip is definetly in order.

My husband usually gives in pretty easy and I think that by tomorrow he will be just as excited as I am. He just dreads hearing her cry. Hopefully the crying stage won't last too long this time. With Layla we went through it pretty much the whole 5 months we had her, but I honestly believe much of it was due to discomfort from her liver disease.

Thank you all for the compliments on our new little girl. I can't wait to get my arms around her. I'm hoping she will be a cuddler:D I will keep you all posted. . .

We have decided to delay her pick up until Tuesday evening. But I am off from work Wed-Mon so it will give me time to spend lots of time helping her get use to her new place. I am just so anxious to get her. . .the 5 days are going to drag by!!!

Hi all. . . . our little :angel: is home!!! The wait is finally over!!! She is so precious. When we went to pick her up she came running over to us like she just knew that's my mommy and daddy. Too cute!!! We have still yet to pick out a name. We have a few in the works so watch for a DBB Poll soon. We will need help with the final decision. It's so funny that when you get a new puppy everything they do is just so cute. I sat her down on her papers and told her go potty and she went and made poop-poo :flush: . . . so guess what I did. . . . yelled for Chad to come here and look at what our little girl just did. Oh how puppies bring such excitement:circle: We did take pictures of the first meeting of her and Ozzy so we will be posting those soon also.

Yea, I am so excited for you. Puppies are a lot of work but worth it! It has been a long time since I've had a puppy. 13 years in fact. So you have to post a lot of pictures so i can get my puppy fix!:D :D :D

The first night went pretty well from my standpoint. With our previous dachshunds, they started out in their crate from the beginning, and gosh, the shrieking and howling and crying and lack of sleep and irritability of huparents and ear plugs and...well, I guess you get the picture....But there was none of this last night, as she snuggled up into Danielle's hair and drifted off to sleep, only to awake to tell her humommy it was time to potty...

She's an :angel:...Ozzy likes her too...He's pushing her around with his big nose, for now anyway...I can see that day when she will be draggin' him around by his ears... LOL
