I was at my sister's house this weekend visiting and we went to the mall, last stop being Barnes and Noble (joy!).

Typically I dont buy books, I sit and read them on the spot (cheating!). Anyhow, it was getting late and the two kids were past their bedtime, but I couldn't put down the book I had found. So I wound up buying it.

Don't Dump the Dog
Randy Grim

Randy Grim knows that "bad" dogs are often "returned" when their behaviors don't improve—he runs the biggest stray rescue organization in the Midwest, recently the winner of a $1,000,000 grant in the ZooToo Million Dollar Shelter Makeover contest. He's heard all the excuses and seen the results of various training methods. With his signature wit and style, Randy imparts his wisdom to his readers.
Very easy reading (some of it had me in stitches laughing so hard), good writing style, and with stories alllllllllll too familiar to anyone that has ever worked in rescue. Might even be a good book to give away with each adoption! :D haha

I recommend it!

I will definitely be looking out for this book. I read Randy Grim's 'Miracle Dog. How Quentin Survived the Gas Chamber.' Although difficult to read, and a real tear-jerker, I loved it!
