I made pizza tonight for dinner, and minced 3 cloves of garlic. Of course, now I have all that garlic juice on my hands, and you know how that stays. Then I recalled that someone said that rubbing vinegar on your hands would get rid of the smell. Well, heck, what could it hurt to try it? I did,....just poured a little white vinegar over them, rubbed, then wiped it off. IT WORKS! Now I know how to not smell like garlic the rest of the day after mincing fresh garlic. Who knew???

I never heard that! I do know, however, that vinegar is good for a LOT of things. I believe that lemon is also good for removing smells from your hands - fish, etc. Thanks for the hint!
