If any one has a toy that has lasted or bought a new toy please post here and let us know about it..:bounce:
It would be nice to post a pic of it with your furkid too.
I just know there has to be toys out there that can last longer than a second or two:D

are KONGs, Nylabones (not the edible ones), rope toys (booda) and the "best ball" which is a big round plastic ball. Everything else is fair game to destroy within nano-seconds.:D

Material brand stuffless stuffies... all except the Teddy Bear and the Chippie have held up for months. The Teddy Bear has stuffing in the head... it lost its head within 2 days. The chippie has a weak spot on the side when you have a tug of war, it loses. The duckies are great! I have posed about them in the past.

Boodha stuffies can actually last for months in my house!

We have four on the go at the moment - one of them ( a little duck) is almost 5 months old. The cat is about 3 months, the frog was Hijinx's bday present which makes it about a month old and the squirrel is about 2 weeks old.

Pardon me while I gloat :D

Tanner is my stuffed toy killer. The booda stuffies only last a matter of minutes if not less. The rope toys Frank loves to chew through always worries me he may swallow the samll part he chews off. The one type of stuffed toy that seems to last in my home is the fist size hedge hogs. Tanner loves them if anyone else (besides me) dares to touch one of his hedge hogs you better watch out. He must have about four or five of them and only one is setting up for repairs. Kongs abd rhinos are ok if they have food in them but no food no play. Nylabones hold no interest at all for my crew. Frank will play with tennis balls but he has been known to pop them just like the big dogs do and if a cover can be torn off he will try to do that as well.

Because Tanner really doesn't like the other boys playing with toys we don't have a lot of toys or play going on at my house. It's too bad because Frank really loves a good game of tug and I think Dexter would like to play some as well. As far as Tanner is concerned he can play with the hedge hogs (they even still squak). Frank can approach him to wrestle, he and Frank can play the chase game. Poor Dexter iis rarely allowed to try and join in on the chase game which he really wants to play. Dexter is scared by the rough wrestle play.

No sooner do I gloat in this forum, then I catch Otto systematically destroying the Booda frog tonight. We had our usual playtime and I was giving Hijinx a little more attention as she has been acting strangely for a few days - when I turned around Frog had a big hole in him.

That will teach me.
