This is going along with Hannalei's thread about traveling with our furkids.
It is something that I had read in Front and Finish magazine and thought was an excellent idea.

I filled out the info., laminated it, punched 2 holes and used cable ties to attach it to the crates.

IN CASE OF ACCIDENT
Unless requiring immediate medical attention
DO NOT REMOVE DOG FROM CRATE
Dog may be frightened and bite or run away.
( Neither of mine have ever bitten;
but, it might stop someone from opening up the crate door unnecessarily:D).

Please take to the nearest vet for any
necessary treatment and to be held in
safekeeping until called for by an authorized person.

All expenses guaranteed by the owner or
his/her estate.

I feel secure knowing that if I were in an accident and not able to respond, my boys would hopefully be taken care of. I hope that you find this useful, too.

I have laminated tags on each of their crates, but this is way better then mine. I also have a photo of them on one side (should they get out). I'm going to change my tags out to this, Thanks for posting.

thats a great idea!! I should crate Dayley when were in the car or at least put her carseat belt on. Its just soo much safer then letting her sit on our laps. That is a fantastic idea and im sure would be soo helpful to emergency personnel
