And this is how Maddy says hello (Grounder- my parent's dachshund is at the top of the stiars)

Sorry Katy... webshots doesn't let you link to your pictures any longer. They used to... but have stopped. You would have to edit your post and either use a different host, or just link to the album.

My bet... you had the images in your "cache" and it was pulling from there. If I try to get the pictures with the full URL of them... I can see them, but they do not let you pull from another web page... like the DBB!

Very cute pics by the way :D

What great pictures.
I just love the names Maddy and Molly. My little longhair was named Molly and she was mommies angel baby and gave me 13 years of happiness and love. I cannot name another one that so I am happy you are. Such a great girlie name dont you think. She'll be home before you know it. They are both beautiful babies. I would love to see a picture of Molly's mom if you ever get her to look at the camera (her coloring is just like my Molly's was). Keep up the great pictures and thanks so much for sharing them with us.

I just had a neat idea you should get them both M&M bandanas wouldn't that be cute.

Enjoyed your beautiful pictures - they are both so cute! I noticed the white/silver looking hair, are they dapples? I still don't know to much about what makes a dapple.

The dapple gene is a semi-dominant gene, which means that one parent must have the dapple pattern in order to produce a dapple puppy. Two solid, self-colored dogs cannot produce a dapple. A dachshund is considered to be a dapple if it has even one tiny dappled patch on it. Sometimes this dappled patch is only noticeable when it is a puppy, usually on the ears or belly, and often fades away with age. This dog should still be registered as a dapple, because it will produce some dapple puppies when bred to a dog with no pattern present.

Thanks for all your compliments on my babies (we think they are pretty cute too ).

Molly is going to be a short hair. We didn't know when we first decided to get her (it takes a few weeks to tell) but we knew we would be happy either way. We are hoping that she will have fur like Maddy. Maddy's dad was a long hair and her mom was a short hair. Maddy's fur is short but it is longer and softer than most short hairs. It is like she never grew out of her puppy fur. The best way I can describe it is a little shaggy. We are hoping that Molly's fur will be the same. But of course we will be just as happy and in love no matter how her fur grows in:D.

Here is a better picture of Molly's mom. They had just started giving the puppys the wet dry food so she has some of that stuck in her ear fur - the joys of a long hair!

Thanks for the picture of Molly's Mom she is beautiful even with food in her ears, such a sweet face and beautiful coloring. She reminds me alot of my Molly girl, also a dapple long hair girl. Funny how you describe Maddy's hair. Missy has the same hair her mom longhair and dad was smooth so she is short hair but it's softer like a long and a bit shaggy.

Check out my picture album. You will see my soon to be adopted Zeke (dapple wire boy) Missy (my stinker bug) Casey (big silly) and toward the bottom are pictures of Molly(mommies ).

Mickey Fan,

Your Molly was beautiful and appeared to have quite a long tounge.;) Your Missy looks like quite the model, very good pictures, and it looks like she gets to do lots of fun things. Zeke with his little beard is pretty cute too (do find yourself talking to him in a scottish accent, I have found it is an uncontrollable respose with me when I meet a wirehair).
