I have a wonderful new addition to my family! :sillylove: Well, I wasn't looking for another dog...but I found out that Biscuit's dad was being put up for adoption and I remembered him so well from when I got Biscuit. He was very sweet, very quiet...I just thought at the time what a really nice little dog he was. So his owner said he was ready for his forever home and he was available for adoption. Hmmmmm. How could I possibly do anything but bring him home to be with us?! His name is Bryce and he's 6 years old. He is absolutely the sweetest, most wonderful little guy!!! I feel so blessed to have him here with us! :hearts: Max and Biscuit both love him too! He sleeps curled up with his daughter Biscuit most often...but sometimes he curls up with our older guy, Max. He plays with Biscuit. Biscuit has a basket of toys in our family room. Bryce will take her toys outside through the doggy door, one at a time, and leave them on our patio. Biscuit goes outside and hauls them back in...one at a time. Bryce thinks they belong outside. Biscuit wants them inside. They just crack me up...one will watch the other...quietly observing...and then when the opportunity is right, they'll go take out/bring back in the toys...over and over they do this! :laughitup:

I feel so lucky to have Bryce with us! Biscuit probably has no clue he's her dad, but she sure does know he's a good friend! They just adore each other. :loveshower: Bryce is having his teeth cleaned on Friday. I always worry when they have to be put under for that procedure, but his breath was stinky and I know he'll be healthier once his teeth are nice and clean. Other than needing his teeth cleaned, his vet says he's a very healthy boy and I know he'll be very happy here! My dogs have all the TLC any dog could ever hope for! It's so easy to fall in love with these little guys, isn't it?!

Thank you all for welcoming Bryce! He's at the vet's this morning having his teeth cleaned. I will be so glad when he's home and I know everything went well. It makes me nervous to have one of my babies put under for any reason. I worry...I guess that's what moms are supposed to do! Bryce is doing well! He's eating well (soft food) and doesn't seem to be in any pain now. He had no real complications at all...except he did "cough" 3 different times, but it was minor and I don't think that's a problem. (?) He's happy and loved and doing well. He would want to send you all a big puppy kiss for thinking of him!:luvlove:And now his kisses aren't even stinky anymore! :happy030::loveshower:
