Yeah, that's what I thnk! I keep hearing about how I'm going to get a
spading done TOMORROW! Now this little wee doxie didn't just fall off
the turnip truck, y'know. We have a condo with NO garden. Not even
GRASS, much less DIRT! How can we go spading if there is no garden
to SPADE? Me thinks there's something rotten gonna happen
tomorrow. Can any of my new friends help me figure out how we're
gonna go spading on the cement? I am one confuzzed wiener.
Licks to everybody,
Maddie

Maddie, good luck with your tutoring! There's no test at the end, so don't worry. http://dachsie.org/ubb/wink.gif

Maddie, this is Rudy. I gotta write fast afore mommy catches me telling you the secret. They are tricking you. You go to the vet and they leave you there. The vet people act all nice and stuff and you start gettin real sleepy. You take a nice nap, but when you waked up some of your parts down there are missing. It ain't too too bad, but act like it is. That ways your mommy will have to give you lots of snuggles and treats to "make you feel better." I did that, and got very yummy treats and extra long cuddles.
Good luck Maddie!
love,
Rudy

Oh, you may want to practice "the look" a few times in the mirror before you go tutoring. Your look will need to be perfected for when you come back! If it's really good, you can have mommy wrapped around your little paw....she's going to feel bad for putting you through the tutoring!
Just a little advice.

Hey Maddie, Good luck today! Be sure to give your Mommy lots of kisses before you head off for your big adventure! You are going to have everyone at the vet's office doting on you and wishing that they could take you home with them, but Mommy's going to be lonely..... at least that's what happened at our house!

Hi Maddie,
If you practice the "look" make sure you also remember to hang your head a bit and look up under your lashes. If you add a kinda weak paw wave as you look away it really gets to the mom. http://dachsie.org/ubb/wink.gifIt worked for me and I hope it works for you.
Good luck at tutoring! http://dachsie.org/ubb/biggrin.gif

Hawwo again (YAWN)
It's me, Maddie. What I want to know is WHY DO I FEEL SO SLEEEEPY? and WHY DO I FEEL PRICKLY ON MY TUMMY? and most of all...WHERE'S MY MOMMY AND PAPA???
Sandi here. Called the vet at 4:00 CA time. She did just fine. Had her shots and toenails clipped whilst she was out like a light. Pick her up tomorrow evening. The vet did the "dissolving" stitches so we won't have to go back in 2 weeks to have em out. Dolly keeps looking around here. I think she really does miss her sissy.
Thanks for all your well wishes for Madison http://dachsie.org/ubb/smile.gif

Hawwo puppy pals!
This is me, Maddie. I is home now and boy, I'm milkin' it for all it's worth. I got Mommy carrying me around EVERYWHERE and I even gave her the L@@K so that she would take that silly plastic lamp shade off of me. A CAT lampshade at that....hrrrrumph! She sure is watching me like a hawk though so that I don't chew or lick my tummy. All the stitches are inside and it looks real neat and clean and not one little bit red. Mommy and papa must think I'm mighty special cuz I heard papa grumbling about how much all of my fixin' cost. Almost $300.00!!!...AND MOMMY ISN"T EVEN WORKING! Well, I did have the royal treatment of toenail clip, shots, heartworm test and tabs. Besides, I'M WORTH IT! I like it that mommy isn't working. I get to see her all day this way. I'm feeling a little sleepy now. Mommy has made me up a special soft bed on the futon and Dolly Lazy Buns is already buried in the blankie. Talk to all my pals later after a nap or 2. Thank you for all your Get Well wishes.
Love Maddie
PS...Woo! You have a GOOSE????? KEWEL!!!!

Don't forget to roll over and show your owie tummy every chance you get. With any skill you can drag this recovery thing out for a long, long, time... http://dachsie.org/ubb/biggrin.gif
Oh, even tho daddies grumble they fork out the $$$$ anyway to buy us the best be cause we are royal and deserve it.
Chew that Catshade up if you have a chance. You never know if they'll try THAT idea again. http://dachsie.org/ubb/tongue.gif
Harrow to Miss Dolly Doglet. I kiss her extended frito paw...

You is soooo CUTE Mr Wotan!
I have been such a good girl and have been very still while mommy puters. So does your daddy WHINE all the time about $$$ too? http://dachsie.org/ubb/rolleyes.gif Mommy ALWAYS is a nice mommy and offers CHEESE with my paps's WHINE!
My owie tummy looks REEEEL good! No red here. Since my stitches are INSIDE and go away after awhile, I don't even have a ZIPPER on my tummy.
Now about that goose, my mommy's mommy had a goose that used to attack her. Yup dranma had to take a water hose out with her to the barn and sumtimes give that goosey an attitude adjustment. Even tho goosey's name was Dandelion, she was NO FLOWER! Get the Goosey Wo!
Snuggles,
