We went to the dogpark again this weekend and a lady who'd seen Gert the first week I'd had her was there. She must've gone on for 10 minutes about how much better she looked, and how she couldn't believe it was the same dog. She was just amazed at how she looks at me with such love, the way she ran and barked after the BIG dogs and then ran right back to me to get in her bag. I'll be posting some more pics later, I've got some great shots of Gert tearing a new a**hole on the toy squirrels.

The girls look great. It seems both you are Gert were very lucky the day you found each other. She's lucky because you were willing to accept her problems and had the love to give her the chance she needed to proved teh docs wrong. You are lucky to get to feel that extra wanth that comes from the love of one who as experienced rough times and truely knows how good a life she has now. While all our little ones are special in their own ways it's the ones who come to us with problems that seem to quickly carave a special nich in our hearts.
