Some of you may remember that I posted about a friend wanting a doxie. She has been looking for a few weeks and had two potential adoptions fall through. There was a girl in the local shelter (about 15 minutes away) and she was entered into the drawing to get her, but luckily the dog's family came to claim her. The little escape artist had gotten away. So that ended in a good way but Amy really really liked her. I kept telling her that her little furbaby was out there and would find her. So, she continued to put out feelers and search petfinder, etc.
I am not sure of the whole story cause I haven't been able to talk to her except via facebook where last night she posted a pic of a new 15-week old pup. They are so excited and the family feels it was meant to be. The little guy was named "Max" and their son's name is Max. LOL. So his new name is Andy (the dog's not the boy's).
I will be pestering her to join DBB and to share some pics.
The cell phone pic is light so I can't really tell, but he is either a red or dilute red. He is pretty light colored and I hope she posts new pics soon.
