A friend gave me this dessert recipe. I fixed it for an obedience club pot luck last week. It was a hit and very yummy; so, thought I would share.
Raspberry Jello Dessert
3/4 cup margarine melted
2 1/4 cups of crushed pretzels
3 Tbls sugar
Mix well and press into 9 x13 glass dish.
Bake at 350 for 15 min.
Cool
Mix 2 8oz pkgs of cream cheese (softened), 3/4 Cup sugar and
8 oz Cool Whip.
Spread on bottom layer when cooled.
Chill for 1 -2 hours.
Top layer: 6 oz raspberry jello
2 cups boiling water
2 12 oz pkg (use about 1 1/2 pkgs) frozen raspberries
Mix together and let thicken a little (doesn't take long)
before putting on top of cream cheese layer
Chill until thick.
Cut into squares to serve.
This would be a pretty dessert
for around Christmas time with the red and white layers.
