The cake looks similar to one my Mom makes. It's freakin HEAVEN too who needs frosting of any sort when she makes it. Yum.

Oh I love watching her and you're right she's scary with her knives isn't she? My Gram is 97 this year and no longer cooks but thankfully both her and Grandpa are still at home.
