Here is a neat site to help you find a place to stay while traveling with your wienie. :bouncy1:

Another site is VRBO, you choose the state, and city, and you can find private cabins, condos, etc, where you can actually leave your dog in a crate, and go off, unlike a hotel that won't let you.
We're staying in Coshocton, OH for 4 days in a cabin, and the woman said we could leave them as long as they are either contained, or well behaved in a strange area. We always bring the travel crates, in case we need to run out and pick up food.

You might want to give VRBO a shot sometime, it says on the right side of the listing if it's dog friendly (the paw print is your key), and the rates are pretty good. We are staying in a cabin in Coshocton for 4 nights before the DBB cookout, it really looks nice, and it's only $500 for the 4 nights for the 2 of us and the 3 dogs. Full kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms (I'll use the extra to store the suitcases in ) full shower bath, etc.
I rented a cabin in NH last summer for us, and it was really nice, right on a lake for only $850 for the week, it wasn't the owner's fault it rained for 80% of the week. We had a great time anyway, we went to the outlets shopping, enjoyed what sunshine we did have, and took a ride through the Kancamangus Highway.
