hotels in Kent ohio

I was looking up pet-friendly hotels in kent ohio and found econolodge and days inn allow pets. Where is everyone staying? weare staying saturday night and I want to make a reservation at a hotel where I know some DBB'rs! I think it would be fun to have a party that night! econolodge and days inn are only around 10 minutes from the picnic area. let me know where you are staying if you are going to the picnic!

Last year we stayed at the Sheraton Suites in Cuyahoga Falls along with Cathy and Mike (DixieDoodle's hoomans). We really liked it - pretty place and a good location for us coming in on Friday for the gathering at Kate's parents and then for the Saturday picnic. We stayed both Fri. and Sat. nights. Saturday night they had a festival going on just down from the hotel; so, we walked Tucker down there and grabbed something to eat in the evening. We are planning to stay there again this year, I think (haven't made reservations yet).

The Sheraton is a nice place and would work best if going to both events. If we can work it out thats what we will do too. The other places are not so nice anymore unless they have done some major remodeling since last year!

We are staying at the LaQuinta in Cleveland, it's a little ways out, but we are going to pick up Anita for Friday night, and possibly for the picnic, not sure yet.
Also, it's right near the exit to head home on Sunday morning.
