Actually anything Con can get you to throw for him. But the best toy is my roomate. She will toss that darn thing because she feels guilty if she doesnt'. I am the one that hey if I say no more. Don't bug me. I set it where he can reach it and just give him the l@@k!  Good thing he is so forgiving. Chewy and Ivy don't really play in the same way. The way to get Ivy excited is the car ride. She smiles from ear to ear. Chewy as long as he has food and a few ear rubs hey. Well he would like to get the guinea pigs, BUT! There fun is hunting on their own.

López loves balls, the bigger the better. We had to hide the new "boomer" ball we got him for his birthday 'cos he just goes crazy over it. He starts barking and crying at the same time, rolling around the house and smashing into all the furniture. Luckily the sweet little old lady who lives in the flat below is away for the summer.:flower: But we can't stand it for long either!

Franks favorite toy is his brother Tanner He loves to grap a leg and cheew on it or use a leg or cheek to pullAtnner around. If he susceeds in getting Tanner mad enough they will have a good wrestling match or game of chase. Another toay Frank likes is a rope for a good game of tug but Tanner gets upset if Frank play a hard game of tug and I have learned not to encourage them to tug at opposite ends of a rope unless I want a fight to break out.
Tanner's favorite toy is a stuffed hedge hog. It's the only plush toy that he doesn't kill. He has about three of then and only one has ever gotten so much as a small hole chewed in it. The squakers even still work in thos hedge hogs. He loves to take it in his mouth and just squak and squak or if he is reallly in a play mode he will bring it to me to through for him and he is a very good retreiver bringing it back to get tossed down the hadd again and again. Once in a great while Frank will risk life and limb and will steal one of the hedge hogs for a short time. Tanner also happens to be the house alpha dog.
Poor Tanner is seldom allowed to play offten. Tanner tells him he can not play:( Once in a while he is allowed to join in a game of chase which he appears to really love.

Otto loves his stuffed squirrel. Gert loves another stuffed squirrel and has just figured out the KONGs. Dolly loves Buddy's collar, while its still on his neck. She's a little remora eel on him. Dolly also LOVES the rawhide game, but you have to sing the word "rawhide" or the game just won't work. Buddy likes to play with Kongs too.

Poor Dexter doesn't have a lot of toys (said we were not going to spoil hi like Dudley) but loves his stuffed Buffalo, and soft squeeky bone from Old Navy.

Another stuffed, especially if there is a squeaker in it.

Tasha likes all stuffed toys and will rip the fuzz off them, but is good about not removing fuzz or squeakers (of course, we don't leave toys out, she only gets them during playtime, so I can monitor their condition quite easily).
The fave would be either the shake and giggle hedgehog, or the nonoyz sonic squeaky toy.
Kongs are fun, but only till the food is gone...

Taffy loves stuffed animals, and we have several of the Baby Tys, but her very favorite is a plush shark from Disney. He has already lost one eye and his fins are almost gone. I really have to go to the Disney store and get a couple more before he completely falls apart. It must be the mouth feel on that one.
It's the most fun when I play tug of war and play growl, make fish swim and then toss it thru the air for her. She will play until she just totally drops. :party6: :party6:
Then we have to have the compressed rawhide for a good chew til she falls asleep.

Hands down Nook Nook's favorite toys are her Dr. No's small stuffed animals we buy at Pet's Mart. They have a removable squeeker with a velcro strip down the back so the squeeker can be changed out or, taken out for a trip to the washing machine. Nook Nook loves them so much she even puts them in her food bowl while eating (just to keep the close). Sometimes she puts them in her water bowl (yuck!). We have to tell her a strong "no!" when she pulls that though. A dripping wet stuffed animal dragged through the house is a "no no". I would recommend these toys to anyone who's dachsie isn't too destructive/hard on toys. :D

My boy's favorite toy is a small (about 2") latex yellow squeaky ball. My girl's favorite toy is her stuffed Pongo...which we refer to as her...uh...boyfriend.

Oliver's favorite toy is a soccer ball. He loves to play soccer. Tammy's is a pink stuffed pig that "oinks" she got it for Christmas from my granddaughter. When Oliver plays with it..she hovers over him and then grabs it and runs to her bed with it as soon as he puts it down.

We gave this stuffed bone to Bobbie last month for her Gotcha day gift & it's lasted almost a month! I can hardly believe it! Bobbie popped the squeaker the first day, but she hasn't destuffed it (yet).
She takes it to the big bed & uses it as a pillow:

"Ball" was an option, and I guess I should have checked that, since the toys my two seem to enjoy the most, and last the longest, are their Kong balls, (stuffed with treats, of course). They will push those balls around the house for HOURS with their noses - it's hilarious watching them. They also love to unstuff new stuffed toys, but those never last very long. The Kong balls are definitely the favorites around our house. Whoever invented those was brilliant (and made a fortune)! Oh, and Lexie LOVES to grab Pat's socks off the floor (which should be in the hamper) and chew little, or big, holes in them!
When the weather's right, their favorite toys are live toads! UGH!!!!!

Schroeder - favorite toy is a tennis ball and what's left of a stuffed dog, I think we might be down to the ear...can't give anything with a squeeker, he kills them in seconds and we're afraid he'll eat the squeeker.
Marcy - she is above toys, she lays on the couch and watches and when they get on her nerves, she takes away the toys and hides them - the queen.
Snickers - anything alive in the back yard, rabbits, squirrles, frogs.
Obie - has this hard plastic-rope bone thing and he loves it. He just chews and chews on this thing and I can't find another one - we might be in trouble when this thing dies.

Lillie has 2 favorites (1) A stuffed Clifford Dog (from the vet) and (2) a doxie with a squeaker in it's head and a rattle in it's bottom, and it's tummy is expandable like a slenky, it's actually pretty neat...found it at petsmart.

The absolute favorite of any of mine is the toy that brudder has!!! Adolph will actually sit and beg for one of us to take a toy away from Max and give it to him! He gets pretty vocal about it, whining, moaning, all kinds of Adolph noises....no, we do not take from one to give to the other...LOL They have to work that out on their own!

Heidi and Fionas favorite toys are Cuz Balls and Bobo's from Petsmart. Neither one last to long and we have to watch them close.
Charlie's fav toy is a small rubber ball with a bell in it that I got from WalMart. We play fetch with it everyday. I'll say "Go get your bell" and he sniffs it out and fetch is on!! He has had it since he was a puppy. I got him a bigger one as he got bigger but he does not care for it at all. It is the only thing that has lasted!!! Next to that is a stuffed critter, but like the rest he is a destuffer and they don't tend to last longer than 5 minutes. I did got to Walmart and got him the flashy thing with the three rubber balls on it. He'll play with it for a while but loses interest. It is not good for fetch like his bell is.

Heidi's favourite toys are a rubber, squeeky dinosaur that came with her from her foster home and 2 of her stuffed toys: a bone with Canadian maple leaves and Bobo.
Valentin is not a huge toy fan. He likes cow hooves to chew on, and will torment Heidi by squeeky the toys and running away with them :devil1:

Stuffed Animal. It's actually a stuffed bone shaped thing. It's yellow and Olana loves it. She also has an orange one but she doesn't love it like she loves the yellow one. I bought it for her before we brought her home ... 88 cents at Wal-Mart. It was one of the first things she had to play with. She kind of lies on her tummy with it and sucks it ..... it's cute ..... it's like a little security blanket for her. She managed to get some of the stuffing out (surprise, surprise) so it's been out of commission for a few days now until we get a chance to sew it.

Schatzi's favorite toy is a pink long legged puppy. It has squeaker in the chest foot and hand. She is very determined to get them out. She broke one squeaker so far. It is so cute to see her running toward you with Pups in her mouth. Its bigger than her but she loves it. It reminds me of the commercial with the doxie who needs a new stuffed toy. Too cute.:bflower:

Our oldest one, Josh will not play with toys except in the house! Then only a tennis ball although he has a hard chew toy in his bed and he will lay and chew it- I think it is called a Galileo? Auggie on the other hand has a large retreiver tube and loves to swim out retreive. I think he would swim out and get it for hours, if someone would throw it in the lake! He took one from a Lab one day at the Barc Parc and did not want to give it back, actually snapped at the Lab who owned it, so we got him one of his own. It is almost as big as he is! He also has a fabric, floating frisbee that he likes to take to the beach.

Maisie doesn't really do toys - unless they are stuffed with something eadable. The dachsie before her, Purzi, was from a long line of working dachsies (they all worked for the German forestry service), and she did not even acknowledge the existence of toys. :D When she was a pup she would destroy my socks - but that was it. ;) On the other hand she could spend hours around the horse barn going "hunting" - and boy, was she ever successful ! ! :eekdevil:

 LOL that face cracks me up!
These aren't considered his toys, but since day one Mud fell in love with some slipper shoes of mine (They're slippers that have shoe bottoms, so I wear them out a lot). Of course I don't let him have them, but no matter how many times I tell him "No" to the slippers, he is always back for more! It isn't that he wants to chew them up though. Mostly it's when I'm wearing them that he will come rushing up and lay on them. Of course, that is perfectly acceptable :)
His other favorite thing are these chew bones that he can't chew up but I only give him at certain times. They seriously keep him entertained forever!
Anything soft.

Tucker loves anything you'll throw. Buffy has to have squeakers. Her favorite is some little round alien looking pink and purple thing I spent less than a dollar for at Wal-mart. It's latex, squeaks and is stuffed. We had two but Tuck mangled one of them. Buffy won't let him near this last one. She even brings it to bed at night so she can keep me awake by burying it under her blankie and dig it back up again. I can't find them anymore now. It may not matter though. When I brought the Bobo's in that I got them for Christmas, my 14 year old had to squeak one to find out why I had spent 3 days searching for them. Buff heard it and went nuts. Kept trying to get into my closet after I put it away.

Betty's favorite toy is a tennis ball in a old sock. She can't quite get her mouth around a tennis ball when we play fetch, but when it's in a sock, she can pick up and carry it by the extra fabric.

Casey favorite toy is a stuff bird> it used to chirp but that's long gone, so is all the stuffing but OH he still loves that bird so!
He loves to chase real birds and he will run out carrying his stuff bird by the tail saying hey if I catch you> you will die too!
Lacey is pass playing with toys but when she was pup her favorite was a stuff monkey, she never tore up her toys!
She used to put them all under a living room chair when she was done playing!
This is action shot he is shaking his bird to pieces (ears flying) the bird was fairly new in the picture so it no longer looks that good! :)

My female, Gretta, loves her stuffed animals. My male, Chester, loves their stuffed beds! He thinks their beds are big giant stuffed animals and he drags them around the house and pulls out the stuffing. Then Gretta will join him and they start playing tug-o-war with the bed. We have to buy new beds for them about every 3 months...couple of spoiled little brats!

He can be playing with any other toy and you bring out
"El Frogo"
He only has Eyes :sillylove: for Froggy then.
Froggy is a Puppet stuffed toy that your hand fits in its mouth has back legs that are 16 inches long and front legs and half dollar size eyes.
If you lay Froggy on the ground he will nudge it till you put your hand in it, He will give it a "Nice" Kiss till you say OK then he begins to rumble with the Froggy.
Froggy Wrestling with Frasier its a hoot to watch The froggy bites him back all over his body as he wrestles and bites the Frog. When my arm gets tired I ask him to give Froggy a kiss :hearts: goodnight cause he is going to Sleep and he pecks it gently and then I put Froggy back in the closet.

Butter has never really liked toys, except for one noisy rooster plushie that had a voicebox that would crow when it was squeezed. She would carry that around... But Will hid it somewhere because it was driving him crazy! :wonky: Other than that, she looooves dirty dishcloths, and the socks I have worn at work all day... She just tosses them in the air, catches them, and rolls on them. Of course we watch her with these things because we don't want her to ingest anything, but she never tries to chew it.
Guinness's favourite toy would probably be a ball. He LOVES fetch - though stuffed animals would be a close second, but we just don't bring those home anymore... They don't even make it to the floor before they are shredded. :faint:

Mine love bones. Abby plays with a ball sometimes but gets bored.
They do not play much with toys. Abby also sleeps with stuffed animals, but does not play with them.
I should have put other, as playing with each other is their favorite.

We are having so much fun with Bonnie because she loves to play! Maddie has never played and she wants nothing to do with Bonnie's antics. Bonnie fetches beautifully and we have the perfect long hallway for throwing her favorite toy, which is a rubber toy shaped like a hamburger. We got it at the Dollar Store and it's been one of the best buys for us. She LOVES it when we get her a little riled up by saying "Ya wanna play HAMburger?" We have to stop the game eventually or she'd keel over. She LOVES her hamburger toy, though in a pinch, she'll chase and bring back anything you throw down the hall.

I had to answer other because with 5 they all have something different.
Lexie is the only one that has specific toys that are HERS. The rest of the crew will play with most any toy but they do have their preferences.
Lexie, I have mentioned in other posts has this green zanies funny face that if she isn't carrying it she hides from the other doxies so they can't have it. But since Christmas she also has a white fleecy milkbone stuffy that she now divides her time between it and the funny face. What is really funny about this milkbone toy is that it is a stuffy and she is keeping it intact. She firmly believes her purpose here on this earth is to destuff every stuffy that she comes across.
Logan is more of a rawhide boy, but he has been known to rip the squeakies out of plastic and latex squeaky toys, also out of Lexie's green funny face and let me tell you she wasn't pleased with him about it either. It seems he found one of her hiding places one day and since it was a vinyl squeaky toy he took it as his mission to desqueak it.
Pippin is a stuffy girl and she doesn't destuff them she pulls the fuzz off them so they are naked. (I guess this makes it easier for Lexie to destuff them that way)
Dexter is a total freak for Cuz balls. We have a whole bunch of them and he goes totally bananas over them. He will throw them up in the air and all around and then chase them.
Beatrix is another stuffy destuffer extrodinairre. She has joined Lexie in her crusade to personally destuff every stuffy ever made.

Ringo pretty much annihilates every toy he gets, even kongs and supposed "chewproof" or "tough" toys. So I give him a bully stick every day to chew up, he just loves them! He also likes to dig in and shake blankets and pillows. He probably likes that more than anything. Like me, he has a thing for fabric (although I don't chew on it) ^-^
