I just learned something new about microchipping from my vet:
It costs $22 to have the animal microchipped, plus $35 to register him with the informational database that keeps track.
BUT you only have to pay the registration fee ONCE, no matter how many animals you chip. You just notify them that you're IDing your 23rd dachsie!
