Portable ramps for visits to relatives or hotels?

Does anyone carry ramps with them when they travel to places for their dachshund to get on the bed? When we traveled to my parents, it takes all Zach has to jump on the bed to sleep as well as when we stay at hotels if we travel for dog sports.

Just curious if anyone has found a ramp that is pretty portable that works to get on and off a bed when they travel? Thanks!

I don't travel but I have a friend that has one like this and it is strong enough for a full grown lab. He uses it to help is senior lab in and out of the truck.

I don't have this problem; Zoey is part kangaroo. She jumps even when I don't want her to.

Since he's small, it almost seems like just a small piece of particle board would work. It's cheap and you could lay it flat in your trunk and put other things on top of it.

A POlice K9 officer did a demo for a rescue event one day and he was using the removable shelf from the back of his SUV for a ramp. Thought that was pretty smart.

O he has and uses ramps now. We have one on the bed and one on the couch. I was just concern for when I travel to hotels and my parents. Hes 6 and getting older so Im just looking for a portable ramp...so I was just seeing if anyone else travels with a ramp

6 is usually the age when most doxies start having back problems Gunner was 6 and 2 months later went down on his back...never having had a bad back episode...Glad your using ramps.
