Do you let your dachsies kiss you on the lips?

Yes (provided they haven't been eating goose poop recently) - but they prefer to kiss me UP the nostrils anyway.

My lips don't seem to be as tasty as the contents of my NOSE!

Mine does the same thing! I let him kiss me on the lips as well and of course he loves the nose!! My boyfriend will tolerate kisses on the face and lips but its just because he loves me!:bounce:

Mine love to kiss me on the lips. My husband says that Bogart is the "Precision Bomber", he has to get his kisses right on your lips, but Miller is the "Saturation Bomber", he kisses all over your face!

Missy is a kissy girl, she does all over face licks and lips are he favorite target. Zeke is a gentle kisser, he gives kisses when I come home and at bedtime and occasionally just cause but he aims for the face. Casey will wipe your entire face clean in a heartbeat - ssssslllllluuuuurrrrrpppppppp big wet mushy ones. I call him my big smoochy boy cause he loves kisses. I kiss all my puppers on the nose and on the head all the time.

I was told that dog's mouths are cleaner than human mouths. The pediatrician told me it's better to be bitten by a dog than a human (my son had been bitten by a little boy when he was 4). Frankie gives lip kisses. When Tiffany was alive and my son was a newborn, I let her kiss his face, lips, whatever! I too let her drink from my glass and then I drink from it. I don't find that disgusting; I like to share! :D

OK I know they have clean mouths.
But..... my doxies love to eat things like poop sicle's. In the summer it is worse, they get mushed on their teeth. OK gross enough! But I do call them Poop for Breath Gross Doggies! If we are out with them most of the time we can get it before they do. But they make a mad dash for it.
I don't mind if they kiss my ears or my face sometimes. But with 3 at once it can be a bit much. Once in awhile they attack before I get up in the AM. At least they don't have any recent prizes. Plus we give them bones to clean their breath and teeth.

We always have a lot to pick up for garbage day though too!

Well. Laila is definitely the kisser. She comes out from under the covers in the morning with her tongue going as fast as it can. It is quite a funny scene, I have to hold her back or she goes crazy. The whole time her tongue is in motion. I call he the ROUS
