For some more good news check out the following ABC News article: http://abcnews.go.com/sections/living/DailyNews/dog000831.html While I suspect a human pace maker would be too big for one of our little dachsie friends any companion in need deserves a chance. Read the article and then don't be afraid to ask your closest vet hospital if they could use donated used human pacemakers. Perhaps some local human interest articles could help spur on a trend of donating used pacemakers.
