Meat sources

What is the main meat source in your dogs' food -- chicken, turkey, lamb, beef (or other)? And why did you choose that particular food?

Mine has lamb in it. I picked lamb because it seems to have the least problems with allergies and especially gas. :D

It varies, sometimes I get the beef, sometimes buffalo, sometimes lamb. It depends on what they have when I go to get the food. I try to vary it a little, too.

Chicken and beef. I rotate bags of the Steve's between the two. I tried the Turkey, but I personally HATE the smell of bellpeppers and they're ground up in the Turkey and I can smell 'em. BLECH!!

is the spice of life. Dogs need variety just like humans do. In the wild they didn't eat consistently the same thing day in and day out so neither should they now. I rotate, lots of variety, beef, lamb, turkey, tripe, ostrich, chicken, fish.

Each protein source has different benefits.
