Thoughts on this food?

We have a new franchise in my area that delivers "natural premium food". The website is www.thepetpantry.com

Does anyone have any opinion on the quality of this food? All I can get locally is from PetSmart. Right now both boys are on Purina Pro Plan, which is OK, but I'm not thrillled with. And Baxter won't eat it unless it is soaked in water first. I'd love to find them something that is better for them that they really like.

I'm not overly impressed. The first ingredient listed is Brewer's Rice and there is no real meal only chicken meal. Ideally the first ingredient will be meat (chicken, beef, etc.) and the grains will be far down the list showing that there are less of them. There are a lot of sites on line that will ship premium food to you. Some areas even have delivery services that will bring it to you. You might want to check one of those.

but there are certainly better ones out there. If you can get wellness, eagle pack, solid gold, avo-derm, natural balance, they would be a better alternative.
