Drinking Urine

Buckley has developed the most AWFUL habit of drinking Bebe's peepee. This started the last cycle she was on (March), and it has never stopped. I'm not talking about her going potty, walking away, and he licks it. I'm talking about him lapping it up while she's pottying. YUCK! How can I curb this?

Here is what I found on the subject, I'm sure another member will be able to help you, in the meantime you could try this.

Dogs don't find waste material as offensive as we do; in fact, to them, it's very interesting. Sniffing or tasting it is kind of like reading a gossip column - they can tell who and what's visited a site by checking out what the previous visitor has left behind. To keep Buckley away from these and other obnoxious things, you can teach him the "NO SNIFF" command. When Buckley shows interest in a location but before he goes to it, give him a little pop on the lead, firmly tell him NO SNIFF, Repeat as needed. If you're consistent, eventually all Buckley will need is the command NO SNIFF to understand that he should ignore the object or location.

Farfel one of my cart wonders, does this. He hates it when he has an accident so he is always cleaning up behind his self. I gently tell him no and it is ok, "..Mommy understnds, you cannot help it .." I have notice lately that he is doing it less and less.
