View Full Version : Poorly tummy
Shelbie

Hi everyone, we're back from our holidays two weeks in the sun for us and two weeks being completely spoiled for Shelbie! I think she'd had a great time but did seem a little quiet with us yesterday on our return which I put down to bewilderment that Mum and Dad had been gone for two weeks. Anyway this morning she had a bit of a tummy upset (which is a polite English way of saying she did a runny poo on the carpet) Should I be concerned or is this a strange welcome home Dachsie ritual. Seems fine now but thought I'd check

Welcome back! I think the tummy trouble is probably due to the change in living circumstances. Dachshunds are delicate little flowers, after all.

Welcome back! I wouldnt worry about Shelbie's problem unless it continues for more than 24 hours. This happens with Oscar occasionally, usually because he ate something he wasnt suppose to. Hope she's feeling better.
Welcome back . . . http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/wavey.gif
I hope Shelbie is feeling better!

Thanks everyone. Well 24 hours later and I think we're pretty much back to normal - didn't want any breakfast this morning but seemed brighter (and hungrier) this afternoon, currently playing with the Hedgehog previously known as Squeaky!! Weinergal, went to St Lucia which is beautiful and Shelbie went to Club Auntie Beate situated in sunny North London, only one guest at a time, completely spoilt rotten from morning to night, it was hell for the poor little mite

Hiya! So glad to see you again!
I don't blame Shelbie for not wanting breakfast- don't the British eat kippers for that meal?
Pass the tea and scones, please! http://dachsie.org/ubb/smilies/facelick.gif
