Hello all,
I was a little shocked and ashamed when just last night I noticed for the first time that Frank still has one of his baby fangs hiding behind his adult fang. At least I hope it's the baby tooth behind. that lower (his) left fang always seemed to be a little slow coming in and was at a slight angle but I had never noticed the baby toot which is almost laying flat pointed toward the front teeth hiding behind it. Frank was about six months old (he was loosing the last of his baby molars) when I got him. Neither I our my vet spotted that baby tooth when he went in for his get acquainted check up. Frank is turning one next week (we make October 31 his biorthday. I'll be calling my vet today to see about getting him in to see what they suggest. The VTH also has a dental clinic we could get referred to if it is more of a job than they want to tackle at my regular vets. I just hope it having been there so long hasn't compromised the health of any of the adult tooth. Every thing seem find and Frank doesn't seem to have any problems so I'll have to see what the vet says. Ouch another vet bill. I know a general cleaning would run about $135 I wonder how expensive the toot extraction will be especially with it laying flat along the floor of his mouth just behind his adult tooth.
Tom (bad daddy), and the boys Frank and Tanner
