Hi!
I just thought I owe everyone who gave us such wonderful advice an update on Otis.
I did end up being a big baby and talking the vet into letting me bring Otis home the same day (their policy is to keep them). I dropped him off at 8:45am and picked him up at 4PM. Luckily, I had a very busy day planned, which included a trip to the pet store for lots of treats! I was able to keep my mind off of him due to my many tasks.
I called the vet at 2PM and found out every-
thing had gone great. The Big O breezed right through it! When I arrived to pick him up he wagged that little tail, wriggled his little body and he PEED all over the floor! He NEVER does that! I guess you could say he missed us.
We brought him home and none of the horrible things they said could happen, happened. No throwing up, nothing but SLEEP. And I am so glad he could sleep in his own home and with his family. The next few days we spoiled him with treats and toys and he is now back to his "old self." Even resumed his marathon walks--he loves it!
Thanks again everyone for being there for us and helping me feel better about the whole thing!
