Can Twix get her hoomom's ailments?

I've had bronchitis for a week and the day before yesterday Twix started coughing and just isn't acting herself. Is it possible for her to get it from me? The coughing seems to go in spells and she just acts like she doesn't feel good or is depressed. Any ideas out there?

Hope you feel better. I was hoping that someone would know the answer to your question since I am also down with Bronchitis and on day 4. I was also concerned about Betty and Oscar.

Yeah, Twix is acting more like herself but still having episodes of coughing. Don't know what to make of it. I sure am sorry to hear you have it too, Jennifer. I thought I was over it but it came back so had to get more meds and for a longer time!!! Oh, I hate being sick! <IMG SRC="http://dachsie.org/ubb/cwmsmilies/cwm36.gif" border=0>

If you ask 100 vets if dogs can get their owner's cold, etc., you'll probably have a 50-50 split decision.

Have YOU been running a fever? I was told by a genuine medical person that if you have a fever, it's a cold. If you don't have a fever, it's an allergy.

So, if it's an allergy problem, it could be affecting both of you. Just a thought.

Augie and I both suffer from the same allergies.

But, the last time I got sick, aug was sorta in the same boat. Try to avoid having twix lick you, that is the way I am sure.
