Miss Gretl went to the Bridge on her own today. Rick says she was standing on the sidelines this morning at 7:30 when Siglen and Sorcha were fighting over the pillow that Gretl wanted. He went back to his room because his back was bothering him, and when he next checked on her at 2:00 she was already cold. The endearing thing is, she crossed the Bridge on the disputed pillow - Alpha to the end!!! (July 20, 1989 - December 11, 2003)

Here's to you, Gretl - I am sure Fritz and Heidi were there to meet you, as were many other distinguished dachsies from our bulletin board! Julia B.
