The tree decorations on the lower branches should be checked for safety.

No turkey bones OR skin (skin is nearly 100% fat).

No onions or chocolate.

Keep the wine glasses elevated & out of reach- those long tongues you know!

Poinsettia plants.

Mistletoe.

Don't put food items under the tree, & ask incoming gift-givers if any gifts contain food. (I lost a whole caramel pecan roll one year!)

Just use your common sense.

WARNING: If you put antlers on your low-riders, you might want to take them off & put them out of reach when you aren't admiring them. They tend to "fall apart in multiple sections" if left low.
