Willy would like very, very much to get into the big bed. Should I let him?

Of course you should!

If you don't wanna... let that pup come to MY house!! I'll scooch over a little bit more - shove Donovan a little closer to the edge- there's PLENTY of room for Willy! :D

How could you not let him do anything he wants when he gives you that sweet face? Of course, he should get in the big bed. My guys all say he should be in the big bed with dad.

how could you possibly not let him.
I have Benjamin sleeping in our big bed, only because he does not jump out.
Our bed is very high. Kamper has been up there and heard something and whamoooo gone in the air just sailing. NO MORE. I will not allow him up there now. I wont risk him with a back injury if I can help it.

Did you really post this message, Mack, or was it Willy? ;) It looks like Willy set up the camera and took his own wistful mug shot!

I say, let him into the bed only if you're content to have him there for the rest of his life. After one night, you won't be able to get him out with a crowbar!

you not letting him. With that sweet face how could you say no. Nothing warmer than a pupper all curled up with you sleeping. Couldn't sleep without Missy and Zeke.

Yes!
Teddy Bear loves sleeping with me in my bed. He usually takes over the WHOLE bed despite his bitty size. The only thing he does that drives me crazy is his snoring....he sounds like an old man!:dog:

What an experssion, how could you possibley even question it? You know that if you ignore a doxie that means you will get 3 lumps of coal in your Christmas stocking!

Listen Mack,
We have 6, that's right 6 in our queen size bed. Then in the morning my border collie mix jumps up.
So what's one more!

Yes, I think that Willy should sleep with you. You will be glad of this decision.

All of my dogs have always slept with me. I remember once that I had to go on a weekend geology field trip and my friend agreed to spend the weekend babysitting my doxies. I talked her into letting the dogs sleep in bed with her. Well, this is a woman that always got up at the unholy hour of 5:30 a.m. When she babysat my doxies, she didn't get up until they were ready because they were so warm against her legs, that she just couldn't get up. :D

Since I started having doxies, I always fixed the bed so that they could get on and off comfortably. Right now I have a waterbed stand with no legs. The base is right on the floor. In the past, when I didn't have a bed stand, I had my mattress and box springs directly on the floor. Then I had a box or something next to the bed to help the dogs further. I also make sure that I have a huge bed so that I can fit in the bed, too. :)

When I shop for couches, I shop for a low couch or a couch that I can remove the legs of. I also shop for a couch with a straight back on it so that the dogs can lay on it comfortably while looking out the window.

I guess you could say that when I go shopping for furniture, I shop with my dogs in mind. :D

Just ask my boys. According to them they share their twin bed with me. The only proble like others have said are one once you have gotten use to sleeping with them it's almost impossible to sleep without them and they make it very tempting to ignore the alarm and jsut sleep in.

My little guy, so far, prefers his crate. When he wakes up before us, he goes outside grabs a quick bite, then hops in bed with us for another hour or two :)
