I hope you guys are not sick with all my updates and thread... I just want to share with you all.

Yesterday Gigi had a busy day. Spent the day at Ang's house along with her 3 cats and a bird. Evening we went to another friend's house and "tried" to play with her schnauzer. But boy, that dog is sooooooooo excited. He was barking, sniff and licking Gigi all the time. Gigi was cool though, which I am glad. Otherwise it will be quite a scene with 2 freaked out dogs. And of course I am going to show you some pictures...(pictures posted in bragbook, since I don't want to put non training related stuff in this section.)

After yesterday's fun fun fun, today is back to normal. I woke up, took care of Gigi and put her in her play pan area and went to the bathroom to get ready. When I came out she was obviously trying to dig and the plastic drop cloth was in a complete mess!!! I was ******. But I controlled my anger and disappointed and just calmly fix everything and let her out of the play pan, then we play and just hang out. Then I put her back in the play pan and gave her her kong (filled with treats and some of those PB mousse stuff) and seems she like it this time and did not pay too much attention to me. I am hoping she will behave in the play pan. :( I planned to take her for a walk again today after work (since I am lucky to work the early shift today...)

That's all. :)

Of course we don't mind the updates. Not meaning to alarm you or any thing but when you say plastic drop cloth are you talking the lightweight clear platic or are yiou talking about a plastic tarp? I would be scared she mightn tear off pieces of the think plastic and swallow them or worse ger her head tangles in it and possibly sufficate if she is now digging into it.

It does sound like she is doing better! I would either put a sheet or something on top of the plastic. I have used lined vinyl table clothes that are heavy to replace potty pads and that might work.

After this morning's episode (she digging up the plastic drop clothes) and dutchman's little warning... I was all worry during work... and what did I find when I came home???????????? I was greeted by a naughty doggie! She was supposed to be inside of her play pan!!! (The play pan is set on against the wall... 3 sides of fence and the wall) She was digging the plastic and it got all crunched up (the pan is on the plastic), that's how it moved the pan! Not only was I mad I was worried what if something happened? Instead of yelling at her I just calmly fixed the mess and feed her dinner. I think I am definitely getting better on my level of patience. Anyhoo, I found a new solution, instead of using those plastic drop cloth, I bought those chair mat for office chair, they are heavy duty, so I think this will work nicely. I really hope this will work...I am so exhausted. :P

Just think of her as a teenager, trying your patience.... but she is so innocent looking!

She just wants to see if that would get her out of the pen :circle:
