Dachsie Sighting

I don't know if this counts as news or not. But, in US Weekly there was a pic of Carmen Diaz with her new mini dachsie. I kind of thought, uh oh, I hope this doesn't mean dachsies will be the "new" celeb have to have.

the "Taco Bell" dog, the chiwawa (can't spell it) - that is exactly what happened to them and now they are abundant and being dropped off like crazy. AND it happened with the dalmations too after that cute puppy cartoon, cruella deville - oh yeah, 101 dalmations.

And of course the breeders thought it was great.

I always worry about that kind of thing when they show a celebrity with a animal.
Everyone will rush out and get one and then later on dump for the next new fad.:( :(

There are lots of celebrities who already own Dachsie's. You want people to own dachsies because of the breed not because it's the "in" dog...
