hi

our dog sally goes through the garden several times each day hunting snails. she doesn't eat them per se, rather crunches them and leaves them in the dirt. it's wonderful for us, the garden has never looked better these past couple years.

at first i worried it would make her sick, but she's very satisfied while doing it, so we even encourage her, especially after a rain when the snails are thick and eating all the plant.

i want to know if anyone else's baby hunts around their yard anything odd.

Cat poop, sticks, firewood, leaves, pinecones, sowbugs, moths, spiders, & the tops of mint & catnip.

Hans and Bean LOVE, and I really mean LOVE worms. They must be dead, smelly, gross worms. They mostly love to roll around in them. It is disgusting-the smell is awefull, and it takes about a week of brushing their teeth to get there breath semi normal.

They also enjoy cat poop.

Toby has attempted to eat slugs. The mess is awful and to get that slime out of his mouth is a terible job.

Wheeler likes worms too. They are multi-purpose. He can roll in them and get all smelly and then eat them. He does the same thing with cat poop. One time I had bathed him for a show and then let him out in the yard. He immediately found a pile of cat poop to roll in. Now when he is all clean for a show, he goes out on leash!
