Hello all just need a place to talk for a minute. Starting yesterday morning I've noticed Tanner is rather slow going up the step at the front door. So far he passes the knuckle test with flying colors in fact he almost refuses to let me get his foot in the starting position for the test. He seems to walk just fine. Also he is not sitting up (not something I taught him) which he commonly does to get my attention. I've tried applying firm pressure along the spine and get no reaction. I'm keeping a close eye on him and restricting his activities a little. I hope I'm just being paranoid but having lost Aggie to complications following emergency surgery I feel a little paranoid. If he doesn't seem better by tomorrow noon I may be calling my vet.

Good wishes and healing kisses from the "Girls" to Tanner (me too). Back problems are scary. I have been very lucky with Sadie so far, she has not had any problems with her back, but Fritz did on a couple of occasions. It is very scary. My thoughts are with you and your boys.

Tanner seems a littler better tonight. When he went to come in after being let out tonight he had a little spring in his step. I think I'll have to keep an eye on this boys and perhaps it's time Frank learns he can't play too hard with his brother. Thanks for the good thoughts I'll let everyone know if we have a turn for the worse otherwise assume we are all in good health. This place is the best support group where else can you find instant support when your worry about your little ones.

I may have spoken too son last night. Bye bed time Tanner didn't even want to try climbing the couple of steps and this morning he is shivering a little when I carry him up and down the couple of steps. I'm at work now an just waiting for the vet's office to open so that I can can see about taking him in. Ten more minutes till the vet opens up. I hope they will we can get in today. If it is a back problem I think we are catching it early enough to use conservative treatment methods. Frank can't understand why Tanner is getting extra attention and why he can't wrestle right now.
